Allison Kwesell is currently a staff photographer at The Chattanooga Times Free Press in Tennessee.
One of Kwesell's favorite quotes comes from photographer, Annie Griffiths Belt:
"As a photographer I have learned that women really do hold up half the sky; that language isn't always necessary, but touch usually is; that all people are not alike, but they do mostly have the same hopes and fears; that judging others does great harm but listening to them enriches; that it is impossible to hate a group of people once you get to know one of them as an individual."
Kwesell believes that the finer things in life can be tasted in a strong cup of coffee before sunrise, felt while jumping horses or skiing on fresh snow, and can be seen while snaps of life magically appear under a darkroom's dim lights. Kwesell's parents are her biggest support and siblings her best friends.
